Recent years have seen tremendous advances in rapid diagnosis of a range of brain and spinal conditions using Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Combined with GP ordering of MRI introduced in 2013, this technology offers GPs a powerful new diagnostic tool.
- But what patients and clinical conditions are best assisted by MRI?
- When is MRI a better choice than CT, SPECT-CT, or Ultrasound?
- How should GPs interpret the results, particularly unexpected ones, and what should they communicate to patients and their families?
We have assembled a panel of experts to present real case studies, discuss the key issues and provide answers to GPs wanting to take advantage of this technology to help their patients and grow their businesses. The panel consists of;
Dr Bill O’Brien – Neurologist
Dr Elizabeth Reyneke – Neurologist
Dr Sherman Kueh – Radiologist
Chaired by Dr Denis Crimmins – Neurologist
The evening will commence at 6 pm with lite supper and drinks provided. The presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. and finish at 8:30 pm. Participants will have the opportunity to ask question of the panel and/or to meet the presenters individually afterwards.
WHEN: Thursday 9th March from 6 pm.
WHERE: Element Building, Suite 2, Level 1, 200 Central Coast Highway, Erina.
